We take part in the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), a management tool for evaluating, reporting on and improving organisations’ environmental performance. We achieved EMAS registration in March 2017, and we successfully operate an environmental management system in line with EMAS Regulation (EC) No 1221/2009, as amended by Regulation (EU) No 2017/1505, and ISO 14001.

The EMAS Environmental Policy is the framework for action and setting strategic environmental objectives and targets for the EIB Group’s internal activities.
